FULL-SERVICE INTERIOR DESIGN
You have a life, a family and responsibilities that already require your attention. Managing hundreds of design decisions, contractors, orders and installation details does not need to become one more responsibility.
Full Service is for clients who want to be part of creating a personal home without managing everything required to complete it.
Full-service interior design is not defined by how many rooms are included or how many selections are made. It is defined by the level of responsibility I take on to guide decisions, manage complexity and carry a project from early planning through completion.
I become involved early and remain involved throughout the life of the project. That may include shaping how the home functions, guiding architectural and design decisions, developing the complete design, preparing documentation, coordinating with the project team, managing purchasing and remaining involved through installation.
The work is not limited to aesthetics. It requires judgment, organization, design oversight and the ability to solve problems as conditions change.
Every decision affects something else. A change to the layout can affect lighting, cabinetry, flooring and construction. A material can be beautiful and still be wrong for the way your family lives. A selection made too late can delay everything that follows.
My role is to see those connections, know which decisions need to happen first and keep the project aligned as it develops.
You remain part of the decisions that shape your home. You do not have to research every option, manage every detail or become the person everyone calls when a question comes up.
Full Service does not follow one rigid sequence. Several parts of the work often happen at the same time, and my involvement shifts as the project develops. Depending on the needs of the project, that involvement may include:
We begin by understanding how you live, what is not working and what the home needs to do differently.
From there, I develop the design as a whole. This may include space planning, architectural details, cabinetry, lighting, materials, furnishings, custom pieces, drawings, elevations and renderings, depending on the project.
The goal is not to collect beautiful selections. It is to make decisions that belong together and work for the way you live.
When a project involves construction, there is important work to complete before production begins.
I help evaluate the existing conditions, develop a clear contractor scope, secure and review bids within the agreed scope and finalize the drawings and selections needed to move forward.
This gives you and the project team a clearer understanding of the work before contracts are signed and construction begins.
Once construction begins, I remain involved to help the project team understand and execute the approved design.
I answer design-related questions, clarify details, review specifications and visit the job site at important points throughout the work.
When unexpected conditions affect the design, I help evaluate the options and determine how to move forward with the contractor and client.
When furnishings, fixtures and materials are purchased through 940 Interiors, I manage the ordering process, track orders and coordinate the details required for installation.
This is not simply purchasing products. It is making sure the right pieces are ordered, received and placed according to the design.
A room is not complete when the furniture arrives.
I remain involved through installation and styling so the final result feels considered, personal and finished. This is where the individual decisions come together and the home begins to feel like yours.
You will know what decisions are being made, what I need from you and what comes next.
I will bring you considered options rather than asking you to sort through everything available. I will tell you when something is not right, even when it is attractive. I will keep the larger design in view when individual decisions compete for attention.
You will still make meaningful choices. You simply will not have to manage the entire process in order to make them well.
